Login Redirect

Is there anyway that I can do an automatic redirect from the login page to the area of the site that specific user has rights to? It's becoming a critical need because my users are getting confused that they keep landing on the main index page. Anything I can do at all?

I have some beta code that now redirects someone to the page they logged in from. So if you have a login form on the xyz school section, they log in from, it takes them to that page after they log in. I can get you the code on Monday to test if you like. /actionfiles/config/loginredirect.cfm

Or if you use our login object, modify /primarytemplatefiles/login/loginform_template.cfm Note the first line. It is setting session.myloginpage to the current page they are loggin in from. You can change that to be

session.myloginpage = 'members.cfm'

to force it to go to the members.cfm page after login.; ▶ Reply to This
